Welder Planned Maintenance Program

GPR performs the following steps to inspect, clean, repair and test the welder:

1. Remove covers and blow out dust with compressed air

2. Inspect internal connections & repair or replace any that are loose or show signs of heat

3. Inspect & clean all contacts (input, output & control relay)

4. Inspect & adjust high frequency spark gap

5. Inspect & adjust range and torch switches

6. Inspect the input voltage, the output voltage & the weld voltage

7. Inspect the rheostats & meters

8. Inspect the fan motor and the wire feed motor

9. Test the torch switches, the range switch & the control switches

10. Test the gas & water shut off valves

11. Inspect & clean the control cables and connections

12. Inspect & clean the input power cables and connections

13. Inspect & clean the connections to the PC board

14. Inspect & clean the drive rolls

15. Inspect & clean the torch tips/electrodes

Each manufacturer has a requirement for PRE-APPROVAL in order to accept the claim.
In cases where pre-approval is not available, we require one of the following two options: 

1. Payment in full

2. Pick up equipment when approval is obtained

If you choose payment in full, GPR will credit you for all work covered by the manufacturer as soon as approval is obtained.
